Technical regulations, Nordic Classic Racing
Classic classes and support classes
- Class 1 1947 and older
- Class 2A 1948 - 1972: Up to 175 cc. Up to 125 cc for 2-stroke
- Class 2B 1961 - 1983: Up to 50 cc water cooled
- Class 2B 1961 - 1983: Up to 50 cc air cooled
- Class 3 1948 - 1972: Up to 250 cc. Up to 1967 for 2-stroke
- Class 4 1948 - 1972: Up to 350 cc. Up to 1967 for 2-stroke
- Class 5 1948 - 1972: Up to 500 cc
- Class 6 1948 - 1972: Up to 750 cc. Up to 1967 for 2-stroke
- Class 7A Forgotten Era big 1972 - 1979: Up to 1300 cc
- Class 7B, Forgotten Era small 1972 - 1979: Up to 250 cc for 2-stroke. Up to 500 cc for 4-stroke
- Class 7C Formula F1 big 1980-1987: Up to 1100cc for 4-stroke. Up to 500cc for 2-stroke.
- Class 7C Formula F2 small 1980-1987: Up to 400cc for 2-stroke. Up to 600cc for 4-str 4-cyl. Up to 750cc for 4-str 2-cyl
- Class 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D, 8E: Sidecar classes
- Class 9 Supermono: Up to 800 cc 1 cyl only SUPPORT CLASS
- Class 12A GP 250 1986 - 2010: Up to 250 cc 2-stroke SUPPORT CLASS
- Class 12B GP 125 1986 - 2010: Up to 125 cc 2-stroke SUPPORT CLASS
- Class 13 Classic Superbike 1988 - 1998: Up to 750 cc for 4 cyl. Up to 1000 cc 2 cyl. Up to 900 cc 3 cyl (Triumph 955 is OK)
- Class 14 Classic Supersport 1988 - 1998: Up to 600 cc for 4 cyl. Up to 750 cc for 2 cyl
- Class National 600: Minimum 6 years old. Maximum 600 cc SUPPORT CLASS
- Class National 1000: Minimum 6 years old. Maximum 1000 cc SUPPORT CLASS

Den norske klubben CRC administrerer maskinreglene disse klassene:
The Norwegian club, CRC, administrate the regulations for the following classes:
- Class 7C Formula 80-87 F1 / F2
- Class 13 Classic Superbike (1988 - 1998)
- Class 14 Classic Supersport 600 (1988 - 1998)
- Class National 600/1000 support class
Den svenske klubben, MCHK-Racing, administrerer det generelle regelverket og maskinreglene for alle de øvrige klasser enn de som er nevnt ovenfor.
Supportklassen Supermono blir administrert av egen klubb utenfor Classic racing.
The Swedish club, MCHK-Racing, administrate the regulations for all other classes and general regulations.
The regulations for support class Supermono is administrated by its own club outside Classic racing.

Oppdatering av regelverket
Det årlige Nordiske høstmøtet fastsetter eventuelle regelendringer. Der bringer de enkelte land inn sine forslag som blir behandlet og besluttet med hhv. avslag, aksept eller delvis aksept med ev. korreksjoner.
Revision of the regulations:
The annual Nordic meeting (autumn) decides any changes to the technical regulations. Each country can submit proposals to changes, that in turn will be taken up for discussion and decision in the meeting.
